Queen Latifah comes OUT? Maybe? Welcome to the Family?

It looks as if Queen Latifah may have officially come out of the closet, and if so The Qu would like to welcome her to the family! Recently Queen has announced that she will be performing at the Gay and Lesbian Pride Festival in Long Beach! This will be the FIRST time Queen has taken part in a queer event, so everyone is a buzz wondering if this is confirmation.

There has been speculation over Queen Latifah’s orientation for a LONG time and with good reason. She had been “roommates” with Jeanette Jenkins for many years until she “moved out” in 2011. We know that a persons journey out of the closet is a personal thing and pushing someone out isn’t the answer. However, if the rumors are true, we say welcome Ms. Latifah, we are proud that you have embraced your pride!
