The Qu in conspiracy with our good friends and comrades Chicago IRL and one person performance powerhouse, Wes Perry bring you DON’T ACT LIKE A QUEER?at the Annoyance Theatre, Sunday, June 24. This is not your typical Pride event by a long-shot. The night starts off with the closing performance of Wes Perry’s critically acclaimed DON’T ACT LIKE A GIRL and is immediately followed by the best damn all-inclusive post-pride party the world has ever seen with performances by Sissy Spastik, Judi Bluum, (X)P, and Suzy Rocco Granite. Kick ass music by DJ Reaganomix.

Here at The Qu we strive to include everyone. We were hoping to have an event that reflected our deep desire for the acceptance of all bodies and all expressions. We chose to do this on Pride because it tends to be space that lacks and needs more acceptance. However, we had not realized that our title reflected a piece of work by Mark Aguhar. We’ve changed the name of the event and we hope you accept our sincere apologizes and our continued respect for the life and work of Mark Aguhar.
