Recently a YouTube videos that went viral came to my attention, and after watching it, I had no idea what to do with all of the feelings that followed. Shane Bitney Crone and Tom Bridegroom had a relationship that was truly meant to be. However, after losing Tom in an accident on a roof of their friends apartment, Shane found himself in a tough place. A place that he never imagined he would be. It has been a year since Shane lost Tom, he never thought that the video he made to honor the love of his life, would have such an impact. Over 2 million views later, amazing things are stemming from the unfortunate event.
Since the launch of the YouTube video, Shane has teamed up with Linda Bloodworth Thomason to work on a documentary about his story, as well as the story for may LGBTQ folks who have lost a partner.
