Gandhi may have been gay, Indian government pays BIG to keep it quiet.
In a book published last year by Pulitzer-Prize-winning author Joseph Lelyveld called, “Great Soul: Mahatma Gandhi and His Struggle With India,” there may be hints that Gandhi was homosexual and was in love with a German-Jewish architect named Hermann Kallenbach. Interesting.
This is pretty scandalous for the Indian government. So much in fact, they recently paid $1.28 million to buy more than 1,000 letters between the two men so they wouldn’t be auctioned off in London.
